R & L Group LLC (branded as Better Than Donuts Travel Tours & Wellness) was co-founded by Kenneth W. Reed, & Cynth'ya Lewis-Reed on January 23, 2006, and incorporated in the state of Indiana in July 2008.
R & L Group LLC is a business honoring all people regardless of their personal or physical challenges. Our business foundation is based on upon Christian-faith principles regarding trust, and equal treatment of all people. Our goal: Provide confidential travel and general wellness education services for domestic & international needs. We welcome solo travelers, couples, or adult-led groups for mature adults and their associates. This includes FUNdraising experiences using both motorcoach and cruise travel.

Ken & Cynth'ya were introduced at Ball State University in late 1973. Her roommate convinced her to go out with him, and his close brother-from-another-mother convinced Ken to go out with her. The rest is history.
Ken is a retired educator and sports coach. Cynth'ya is also an inspirational self-published writer, spoken word poet, community empowerment speaker and, if you may have already guessed, a lover of travel. In fact, Cynth'ya is an international best-selling author through a collaborative as a member of Women Speakers Association. Within 48 hours of the February 2026 launch of "Voices of the 21st Century:Unstoppable Women Standing Strong" the book reached best-seller status in the United States, Canada, the UK, Germany and Australia. #ReedismXYZ
After 50 years of marriage, their marriage secret will be revealed to the world in Cynth'ya's upcoming 2026 book release, "Is Marriage An Ugly Word? 50 Years of Challenges, Choices & Changes from a Biblical Perspective." WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson/Zondervan.
The couple is actively engaged in volunteering with Cerenity Recovery Cafe/Anderson, and also with the non-denominational faith family, Bridgeway Christian Center, Muncie, IN.
